SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) is the National MOOCs portal being developed by MHRD, Govt. of India and initiated by SEVEN IITs along with the IISc, Bangalore in 2003, to provide quality education to anyone interested in learning from the IITs.SWAYAM - NPTEL has been offering online certification for its courses, the highlight being the certification exam through which the student gets an opportunity to earn a certificate form the IITs!
