The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) was established in the year 2015 - 2016 with a view to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among students. It provides a supportive environment to develop innovative ideas into viable products or services by providing resources such as mentorship and networking opportunities thereby helping growth of innovative ventures.

• Promoting Entrepreneurial Culture: Instill and nurture a culture of entrepreneurship among students, faculty, and staff through various activities and initiatives.
• Educational Workshops and Seminars: Organize workshops, seminars, and guest lecturers to educate students about various aspects of entrepreneurship, including idea generation, business planning, market research, finance, and marketing.
• Skill Development Programs: Conduct skill development programs to equip students with the necessary entrepreneurial skills such as problem-solving, leadership, communication, and project management.
• Mentorship and Guidance: Provide mentorship and guidance to aspiring student entrepreneurs by connecting them with experienced mentors, industry professionals, and successful alumni.
• Incubation Support: Offer incubation support and resources to help students turn their business ideas into viable startups, including access to workspace, funding opportunities, legal assistance, and networking opportunities.
• Networking Events: Organize networking events, startup weekends, and pitch competitions to facilitate interaction between students, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts.
• Collaboration with Industry: Foster collaborations and partnerships with industry organizations, startups, and established companies to provide students with real-world exposure, internships, and entrepreneurial opportunities.
• Community Engagement: Engage with the local community and ecosystem to promote entrepreneurship and innovation, including outreach programs, social entrepreneurship initiatives, and community development projects.
• Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of EDC programs and activities to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with the evolving needs of students and the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
