ABOUT MAINTAINING THE COLLEGE DISCIPLINE

DIGNITY AND DECORUM TO BE OBSERVED IN THE CLASSROOM AND COLLEGE PREMISES :
a)
The college insists on regular attendance so that students would benefit from the course of instructions. Students are expected to keep quiet during lectures / tutorials to benefit themselves from the given instructions. They should be punctual & occupy their seats at the commencement of a lecturer, greet the lecturer respectfully on his arrival and behave with dignity and decorum through out the lecture. Any attempt to disturb the teacher or to distract the attention of the class or otherwise to interrupt effective teaching will be severely dealt with.
b)
Students must not loiter in the college premises when classes are going on. They should go quietly to the library and avoid causing disturbance to the working of the college. Silence must invariably be observed in the library and during the lecture hours in the college premises.
c)
They are further requested not to loiter in verandas even if there is no lecture for them.
d)
They are further directed not to loiter near the office and Staff Common Room and Staircases without reason.
e)
Students are requested to approach the college office only if there is any work and to leave the office as soon as the work is over.
f) Smoking, Eating Pan or any other similar materials or spitting any where within the college premises is strictly prohibited. Any student found to be indulging in such activity will be liable to be expelled from the college.
 
COLLEGE PROPERTY
  Students are expected not to cause any damage to college property and are expected to take proper care of it. It should be a matter of pride and self respect for them to keep their college neat and tidy. Any damage to college property is a breach of discipline and is likely to be dealt with severely.
 
NOTICE
 
It is the responsibility of every student to read the notices displayed by the college office from time to time. They will not be excused and no concession will be given on the ground of ignorance due to their failure to read the notice.
   
SMOKING AND DRUGS
a) Smoking is banned by a police order and it’s strictly prohibited in the college including canteen. Students are expected to refrain from smoking.
b) Any student having any thing to do with the use of narcotic drugs shall not be merely expelled but will be subjected to police action.
   
EXPULSION
  If for any reason, in the opinion of the Principal which shall be final, the continuance of the student in the college is deemed detrimental to the best interest of the college. The principal may expel such a student from college without assigning any reasons for his decision.
