EYES @ NSS( Enlighten Yourself Every Saturday)
EYES @ NSS is a very innovative programme initiated by our ex- Principal
Dr. Rajpal Hande. EYES @ NSS stands for “Enlighten Yourself
Every Saturday”. The Ex- VC Dr. Rajan Welukar had made a beautiful
compilation known as ‘Words of Wisdom’ comprising of various
convocation addresses given at University of Mumbai by different eminent
personalities from 1998 to 2012. In this programme the staff members
were allotted 2 of these convocation addresses which they read out
before the other teachers to inspire and enlighten them with the words
of wisdom of these great Personalities. These speeches were recorded
on CDS in the voice of our teachers and then these were played in
each class room before the students every Saturday to spread the words
and thoughts of these great personalities to the students and create
awareness on their responsibilities towards the society after they
graduated.
